In all our purchasing and procurement activities, with our suppliers as partners, we will ensure thorough compliance and conduct fair business transactions together with our suppliers. At the same time, we will conduct responsible procurement and purchasing with consideration for human rights and the environment.

We will also deepen exchanges with local communities and work together with local residents to pursue a better "society."

    Hygiene control system

    • In order to promote the Group's food safety and security, we have established the "Food Safety Promotion Department" to integrate the Group's expertise in formulating policies and rules related to food safety and security, information sharing, education, inspections, labeling, and other areas, and promote unified measures.
      At our stores, we have established rules for hand washing, physical condition checking, clothing, etc. based on hygiene control that incorporates the idea of HACCP based on the Food Sanitation Act. We adhere to these rules and strictly manage forms.
    • Sanitary inspections by external inspection organizations are conducted on a regular basis. In addition, by combining the periodic inspections, we are striving to maintain and improve the level of food safety and security, and have established a high-level hygiene management system.
    • As a measure to combat food contamination, we are conducting thorough surveys of foreign substances using FTIR (Fourier-converted infrared photometer) and digital microscopes by our own inspection division. We also conduct external inspections by third parties.

    Disclosure of information of allergens and its origin

    • To ensure that our customers can enjoy our meals with peace of mind, we have information on allergens available at each of our stores and respond to inquiries.
      In addition, for Japanese beef produced in accordance with the "Beef Traceability Law", we provide customers with reliable safety and security by providing information on the "Origin of Raw Materials" by providing individual identification numbers at our stores.

    In response to changes in the work-life balance, we offer 4 types of work styles, including shorter working hours and 3 weekly holidays.

    The retirement period for employees is up to 70 years of age, and the employment period for crews is extended to 75 years of age. Even after the age of 60, there are many people working in management positions using their experience, and this is an indispensable force.

    We also actively recruit mid-career employees in their 40s and 50s, each of whom utilizes their experience.

    Through the point system, long-term service awards, and contests held at each operating company, we are striving to instill a culture of honoring employees who have achieved long service and results.

    Group-wide, various types of training are conducted according to rank, such as follow-up training for new employees, general employee training, store manager training, and supervisor training.
    Each operating company also has its own training system and mentor system.
    In addition, we have a support system for acquiring approximately 40 qualifications, including language, cooking, and customer service. We also support individual growth by providing a wealth of training videos.
